Virus Scan Interface not working in SAP ABAP system

Hi Team,

We are not able to identify the Adapter path while creating Virus scan Profiles. In OS level i find that SYMANTEC Antivirus installed in the system.

OS : MSSQL SERVER 64BIT

Created RFC but it is not working .

Please advise us on this .

Hello Ram,

the RFC screenshot shows the problem that the Gateway could not find "VSCAN_WFECC_WIN" as a registered program.

Check the guide which has described how the RFC connection needs to be set, as perhaps a step was missed in the creation of the connection.

Alternatively, the following documents might help:

• SAP KBA #2104408 - "Checklist for "program not registered" errors"
• SAP KBA #1893014 - "program not registered".

Hi Sriram,

Thanks For your response .

We are in (SAP_BASIS 740) so the below profile is activated.

/UI5/UI5_INFRA_APP/REP_DT_PUT           

Kindly advise the below doubts.

1. how to identify whether the Virus scan adapter is already installed in the system.

2. only RFC creation is enough for Virus scan interface in ABAP system

3. What we need to give Adapter path " " while creating Virus scan profile servers .
