ALERT CONFIGURATION NOT WORKING

Dear Experts ,

I have created an Alert Configuration in PI system 7.31 using this documents .

Everything configured successfully , but I am not getting any alert notification in my mail.

Please let me know if there is any possible step I have missed.

Pradeep,

-Make sure that the back ground jobs are scheduled and are running fine.

-Check if PI is able to connect correctly with the mail server. You can test this using the MAIL adapter. Also check the server logs for any mail related errors.

Hi,

Are u sure you have an alert generated in the system for the consumer queue?

Hi Amit ,

Please can u tell me how can I check an alert generated in consumer queue .

I have checked my log and I got this error .

SAPTimeZone Log Info: Action: getTimeZoneABAPOrJava. Reason: Timezone Asia/Calcutta mapped to UTC+53 ,

SAPTimeZone Log Info: Action: CreateSAPTimeZone. Reason: Timezone Asia/Calcutta not found .

Hi,

Use AlertRetrieve API and check if there are any alerts for that consumer.

user , which you are using has this role SAP_XI_ALERTCONFIGURATOR_J2EE?

Yes this role have already assigned in that user id .
