HI All,
Could anyone let me know what is xMII and who are rt professionals to be in this technology. The main reason of asking this question is , i came to know that person should be a functional guy to start working in XMII. Is this true?
I want to learn xmii, kindly let me know where can i start from and what are the needed skillsets for start
Thanks,
Raags
Being a functional guy will help you with understanding the RFCs in which xMII communicates with SAP. However, many project may not even "talk" to SAP ERP. In that case, a functional SAP person may not be very valuable.
Some of the core abilities for SAP xMII are html, javascript, xml, xpath, and understanding how to use java methods. Probably more important than functional SAP knowledge is also the ability to work with SQL databases and Shop floor data systems.

Hi Raghavendra,
xMII connects the Plant with the rest of the Enterprise.
any Technical or Functional guy can start working in xMII.
whether you are BE, MCA, MBA, fresher or experienced, you can start working in xMII.
although Functional knowledge helps...
other skills that are useful - HTML, javascript, XML , SQL.....
you can start learning from SAP help.

Anil

Hi Raghavendra,
If you have java,XML knowledge than it is fine , functional knowledge is required to identify RFC/BAPIs.
Just go through with this material and you can also google for other threads.
