Error Message M3773 : Imported batch already assigned to another material

Dear All,

Recently i am facing one issue at one of client. They are using a raw material without batch management, but for the same material split valuation is activated. Stores has done GRN with valuation type Imported and now material in quality inspection.

Now when user trying to do UD, system throwing an error 'Imported batch already assigned to another material' Message no M3773.

Please give some solution.

You said you are using raw material without batch management. Then why your system is creating batch for this material ?

Check this OSS note if applicable for your case  1154940 - Error with valuation types and batch level = client
