We use the advantage backup utility to create backup's of our database.
Sometimes it finishes with the error code 5200 wich means it's a blurry snapshot.
What can cause the blurry snapshot? Is it because of an high load on the database (many connected users or a heavy query running)?
Or is it because changes were made in tables during the backup?
And what can I do to solve this problem?
The 5200 is returned whenever there are other work threads active. A long running report using SQL may cause this error being returned although the result of the backup may be completely correct physically and logically. It is not possible for the backup thread to know whether updates are to be
performed by other threads.
