Hi,
We have a requirement to insert a default text in the mail body received by a spool recipient along with the spool attachment generated by a background job. It will be great if someone can help me out.
Thanks
Hari.
Hello Hari,
if I understand the requirement correctly, the solution is described in the text of SAP Note #311037 - "Printing using e-mail":
"1. Changing the text of the e-mail
You can change the text of an e-mail.
You can use transaction SPTP to define up to 10 text lines with the name MAILN (N=0..9). You must define them as local texts.
You can use the following variables in the first text line MAIL0:
&1 Owner of the print job
&2 Spool number or print request number
&3 SAP system
This results in the following, for example: "This is request &2 of user &1 from system &3."
The text between MAIL0 and MAIL1 must be separated by a blank line otherwise no blank lines can be added."
Best regards,
Laszlo

Hi Laszlo,
Thanks for your quick response.
Currently in our system, a background job is scheduled to generate a BI report. Which will be mailed to the spool recipient in mail with attachment in HTML format. We want to add a confidentiality message to the mail along with the attachment.
Thanks
Hari.
