BW data not appearing when opening saved file

Before I open a ticket I want to throw this out to see if anyone else has seen this.

I am able to create/edit/refresh etc data from BW in 1.28..no problem.

If I save, close Lumira, and open the saved file back up, I get blank visualization and data columns in Prepare.  everytime.

If I hit refresh, it all comes down from BW with no problem... save, close, open back up..its gone.

Hi All,

This issue is already identified and likely a regression with 1.28. This should likely be fixed with next patch of 1.28.

As a side note...

When I initially posted this, I was bringing in ~1million rows x 18 columns from BW.

I went back and added a restriction on the query to limit the data to ~430, 000.

Doing this, the file now works as expected.. when opening, data is loaded correctly.

I am observing the same behavior; but doesn't it make sense to refresh so you can enter the BEx variables screen?  What other way would you have it?

The query I am using has no prompt/variables (all exit variable driven)

This would only be asked upon request/refresh anyway.  Which I am not doing.  I am opening the document as it was when it was saved, so no this is not expected behavior.

At least I am not alone in seeing this behavior.
