can anyone give me the answer for this its urgent.

Q) Where would you look to see/set the parameter “shmmax”?

Hi Kafil,

Is it a system parameter or anything related to OS,DB setting. In SAP you can see parameter existing values via RZ11 and you can set them via RZ10.

check SAP help for some more info.

Hi,

Shmmax is the kernel related parameter.

There is a file sysctl.conf file in etc directory.

There you can set/see this parameter.

Hi

Please Check This <b>SA38-->RSPARAM(Program name)> Execute(F8)-->Execute</b> Now you see all parameters.

If you know parameter name you see RZ10 adn Rz11.

You change parameter in RZ10.if dynamic parameter you can change RZ11.
