Pricing condition discrepancy: header/item

I have a pricing condition that is categorized as a discount. In this instance, the discount amount is 5% but because the 5% is taken at each line item, the header total @ 5% is $0.14 off.

Header condition amount = 5,530.74 (totaled from line items)

Header total amount = 110,611.99

But 110,611.99 * 0.05 = 5,530.5995 (difference of 14 cents).

What is the proper way to address this issue?

We have decided to create a new alternate calculation routine to round it to two decimals. Hope this helps.

I'm sure it is a rounding issue but I want to understand the proper way to correct this.

Hi,

Since the condition type is categorised as header condition, the discount u maintained i.e 5% is being copied into each line item and 5% amount is being deducted at each line item and when it comes to header total discount is appearing more than 5%. If u want the system to give discount of 5% on all the line items in a sales order together categorise the condition type as a group condition, the the discount amount at header level would be 5% only, i hope this will solve ur problelm.
