Hi,

We are not using the Shopping cart - We are using only the Bid Invitation and Live Auction. While creating an invitation we want to make sure some partners to be mandatory to make the follow on document (like PO/Agreement) creation issueless.

Hi Vijay,

in that case I assume, your are using ECS in SRM.

From standard persective that are non of your fields set as mandatory by

standard. From the scratch each strategic sourcer can define the bid invitation

upon their needs. You can only overcome, when the process starts with a SC

or you program a modification for the bid invitation screen (tricky thing, which

efforts are usually not forth the value).

Thanks,

Hi Vijay,

are you looking for mandatory fields during bid invitation creation?

The mentioned fields (location, ship-to) are directly taken from the

requirement (R/3 Requisition / SRM Shopping Cart) - do you want to change

that info? This can be done by updating the Shoppng Cart by the Buyer.

The bidder partner type is depending on the selected bidders, the strategic

sourcer selects for the bid event (what types do you want to restrict?).

Thanks,

Claudia

Hi Vijay,

partner function in SRM is not completly equal to the ability you expect from in

R/3 depending on the process used in SRM.

What are the requirement you are looking for / the issue you are facing?

Thanks,

Claudia
