Dear Ashutosh,
Please find the SDM log file in attachment.
Due to this issue, we're not able to logon to SQL Database. It says "Cannot connect to DEBZISAP100/D06. Additional Information: Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user 'DEBZISAP100\sidadm'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 4064)".
I assume that, due to authorization issue we're not able to login to the SQL server and also the main cause of this upgrade error.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks & best regards,
Sreenu
Hello Sreenivas,
Please check following SAP note:-
164752 - DEPLOY-SDM SUM phase fails with NullPointerException
and the wiki below
http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechTSG/%28SUM%29+DEPLOY-SDM+-+wrong+SAPJVM+path
I hope this resolves your issue.
Regards
Anand

Hi Anand,
Thank you for your quick Response.
Solution Note "2164752 - DEPLOY-SDM SUM Phase Fails with NullPointerException" says the following:
The Solution to this issue is to make sure that the following paramaters are correclty set in the instance Profile.
DIR_SAPJVM = $ (DIR_EXECUTABLE) $ (DIR_SEP)
sapjvm_<version>
jstartup/vm/home = $ (DIR_SAPJVM)
These steps has to be added in the shadow instance for e.g: DVEBMGS04 or for the Standard System Profile DVEBMGS00?
We tried to enter the above steps in shadow instance Profile (DVEBMGS04) but the same error is thrown by SUM for Java stack.
Any other ideas, please?
Thanks & best regards,
Sreenu
Hi Sreenu ,
Please follow the Note carefully .
First of all check whether the Note is valid . Ie check READ-BASE-JVM-PROFILES_<NR>.LOG
If it is confirmed the nOte is Valid
Set the parameters in the instance profile of the main instance , restart the instance , Reset the upgrade and start once again [ as Detailed in the Note ]
Thanks ,
Manu
