Just assign the sales org + Dist. Channel combination to the plant where this material is existing. But remember a material cannot belong to two divisions at the same time. You can fulfilll the requirement by maintaining the sal org, dist chan link to plant.
we can extend a material to any sales area, but in the customizing u have to assign that sales organisation and distribution channel to which u want to extend the material must be assigned to a plant in which the material exists.
We can extend the material to another Sales Organisation and Distribution Channel. But One Division can be assigned to a material. We cannot assign another division to the same material. This is a standard SAP rule.
If you do not assign a Division to a material, then that material can be extended to Different Sales Organisation and Distribution channel and can be sold through the Customer Sales Area.
