Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to complete a system copy with the latest Software Provisioning Manager SP08.

My target server is running Windows 2012 R2, with Oracle 11.2.0.4

After restoring and recovering the database manually, I continue sapinst.exe and receive the following error:

Path component contains reserved character ('"'): "H:). You can now:

  • Choose Retry
    to repeat the current step.
  • Choose Log Files
to get more information about the error.
  • Stop the option and continue later.

Also see the attached jpg.

Any suggestions?

Scott

Hi Scott,

You have to make changes in registry as the registry contain some unwanted values.

So in dev_sapinst log file look for the FSL-02106 and FSL-FSL-06002 entry.

It will tail you the location of the registry.

Hello Scot,

Sriram rightly said it would be difficult to check the issue w/o the log.

If it is related to JAVA_HOME then may be below link can be helpful.

SS, The source system was running on Windows Server 2003 64-bit UC. The target is Windows Server 2012 R2 64bit UC. The Oracle database version is not changing or the SAP version (Netweaver 7.1 Mobile).

Log files are attached.
