Hello;
Currently in the PRD system , audit operations are on its default state which is on disabled
audit_sys_operations FALSE
audit_syslog_level
audit_trail NONE
What would be the best practices for these parameters?
should those parameters enabled? (As stated by the auditors)
Will there be any performance issue arise by enabling those parameters?

Hi,
You can also check carefully the following SAP Notes to obtain more information regarding these parameters and auditing
700548 - "FAQ: Oracle authorizations" (especially point 22 and 25)
1710997 - "Using Personalized Database Administrator Accounts"
1551504 - "Cleaning up Oracle audit files"

Hi Zerandib,
Below is the oracle document to explain those three parameters:
You can determine how to set them depending on your audit policy.
However I do not see database audit does cause much performance for the database so far.
Best regards,
James
