User creation error

Hello everybody

I have a problem when I try to generate users from existing SU01 users, the system generates a erro message:

Action canceled

Message no. BBPU_MESSAGES001

STEPS:

Tr: USERS_GEN

Select: Copy users and employee data from template

Select : Create users from existing SU01 users

Execute

Select : Organizational unit

Continue

Chose : Area of users

Insert user

Flag

Continue.

The error occur and the users are not created.

i found yesterday the cause : as we are connecting 2 systems in ALE with SRM, we got a problem with number range.

Problem is now solved.

Hi Yann,

I think we faced this problem sometime back and got through it.

Can you confirm me if you are getting the same error message for sa valid Org ID. If yes, please make sure this Org ID is not opened in Change mode in PPOMA_BBP.

Inspite of all the above things if you are getting the same error, check if the BP number range is exhausted.

Hello Nilson,

I think most of the time we make some wrong selection for Org ID due to which we couln`t able to create users and find such error messages.

So check first of all Org ID for which you are creating users.

Let me confirm for same.

Hi Nilson,

it seems that the Org Unit used, it not vaild. Then there is no chance to create a

real SRM user based on an existing SU01 user.

Are you using Trx USERS_GEN in SRM? Follow the guidance and select an Org

Unit from the Drop Down menu for a valid Org Unit.

Then your user should be created without any errors.
