How to copy hana table from production instance to quality instance

Hello,

I would like to copy a table from our production instance to our quality instance.

This table already exist in quality instance, so do i need to drop it first?

Can i use export / import function from hana studio ?

Both table have same shema name (SAPSR3).

Is there any other method in HANA 2.0 SPS 05 for this Task, except from Export / Import or use SAP Data Services or SLT? I could not find one in the Admin guide?

Hello Vincent,

You can use the import/export functionality delivered in HANA Studio. Please see the following two sections of the SAP HANA Administration Guide which detail this further:

Export Tables and Other Catalog Objects

Import Tables and Other Catalog Objects

I advise you to practice by doing a "dry run" with other sample tables.
