Releasing Demand from DP to SNP

Hi Experts,

My DP Planning bucket is Monthly and my SNP Planning bucket is weekly. Now when releasing forecast from DP to SNP what setting is required so that the forecast should correctly sit in the weekly buckets in SNP and also vice versa.

Ramesh,

First you need to create a storage bucket profile (/sapapo/tr30) with number of buckets and periodicity as weekly.

Then you have two options:

• If releasing with MC90 then put the above SBP in field "daily bucket profile" field.
• If doing with background job, then while defining your release profile assign the same in field "daily bucket profile".

Try with above and let us know if it resolved your issue.

Not sure what do you mean by "vice verse"? Are you copying back the results of SNP to DP?

yes copying data in weekly bucket in SNP to monthly bucket in DP.

You can try and execute:

• /SAPAPO/LCOUT - Release to Demand Planning
• /SAPAPO/SNPFCST - Release SNP-Confirmed Forecast to Demand Planning

This will take care by itself.
