Exclusion of User Administration Tables from Data Transfer

Hi,

In TDMS there is a step/task "Exclusion of User Administration Tables from Data Transfer" As per the description when we execute this step users and there roles, access levels etc are not sent to receiver system.

Will this step keep user data in receiver system intact ? or do we need to exclude any tables from deletion in receiver system?

regards

Vinay

Hi Vinay,

TDMS does not change any User Master  / administrative data in the receiver system.

It retains the user master in the receiver system.

However it will automatically assign new address numbers to the user to maintain consistency of address data.

You do no need to perform any special configuration in this regards.

Between one point, why did you need to research on this activity

Did you find any issues with user data ?

Thanks,

Rajesh

Hello Vinay,

TDMS keeps such data in shadow tables automatically. You don't need to do anything special for this.
