Hello,
I am having a strange problem in the jobs.
A 'CUA_LDAP SYNC' job runs daily, to sync the data in LDAP server. This job is scheduled in production SOLMAN, and runs daily.
Prod Solman has a two servers, XXX146 and XXX149.
Now a days, this job is getting finished in 0 sec, if no target server is defined. On the other hand, if the target server is set to XXX146, it runs for a definite (expected) time, and gets finished/cancelled.
Please note, here no change has been done in the memory parameters of the system. The servers and the LDAP servers are same as they were earlier.
Below are the details:
Program name: RSLDAPSYNC_USER
Frequency: Daily
Servers available: XXX146 and XXX149.
Server in which the job is running as expected: XXX146.
Please help.
Regards,
Soumyojit
Hi,
Would you please share system logs from SM21 for the 25.08.2015 05:19:49 up to 25.08.2015 05:19:49 ? Also check for any dump details under ST22 & share the same.
Meanwhile have a look with SAP KBA 1575245 - Tracing issues in report RSLDAPSYNC_USER
to share the trace results as well.

Hi Gaurav,
There are two error logs whenever this job gets finished in 0 sec. I just ran the job again, by removing the executing target from the job details, and it again ended in 0 sec, and with error as "Error in T100, MSG: 748". This error occurs twice, and everytime this job gets finished in 0 sec.
Please note, this error is not present in job log, this is occuring in SM21 logs.
Any idea, what this error could mean?
Regards,
Soumyojit
Hi Soumyojit,
Error in T100, MSG: 748"
Have a look with SAP doc at How to analyse Error Msg EGW 748 not found - ABAP Connectivity - SCN Wiki
Hope this will help you.

Hi Gaurav,
Thanks for the reply. The link shared by you helped in finding the root cause. Few days ago, sec_info and reg_info were created from SMGW. This newly created files caused the issue, and because of which, the LDAP RFC for XXXX149 was also failing with error code 748, stating access to the registered program denied.
Did some changes in the files' entries, still no luck.
Currently, the files are removed, and after a reboot, things are normal. Still working on the changes to be made on the sec_info and reg_info files. As of now, the root cause has been found. Working on a permanent resolution.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Ram,
There is no such specific job log in this, which can relate to the issue.
Below is the only log present.
25.08.2015 05:19:49 Job started
25.08.2015 05:19:49 Step 001 started (program RSLDAPSYNC_USER, variant CUA_LOAD, user ID GTESTGPD001)
25.08.2015 05:19:49 Job finished
This job finished in 0 sec, when no executing target server was mentioned(shown above in the log), but is running now for the past 5K sec, when the server XXX146 is explicitly maintained.

Hi,
Have you defined job load balancing the servers in SM61?
Is your system restarted/ refreshed/upgrade recently.
Create batch job server group in SM61 and define the servers for your jobs to pick automatically.
This should resolve the issue.
Thanks
Rishav
