Hi Letz friend,

You need to run the below sql command to take the backup of control file

Alter database backup controlfile to trace,

It will create a trace file in usertrace directory.

/oracle/SID/saptrace/usertrace

Hi,

Hope your issue has already been resolved by following Anand & the provided link by him.Anyways you need generate control file by execution of command "alter database backup controlfile to trace" & then convert or rename generated trace file with desired name of control.sql.(e.g)

Execution of control.sql will generate the control files for you.

In resume follow similar SCN thread at Homogeneous System Copy Steps Needed. | SCN

Hope this will help you.
