Hello everybody,
within our Company we have the requirement to allocate batches to a sales order and to reserve or block the quantity
and batch on out stocks.
I didn't find a Standard SAP solution so far.
Case Description:
Sales order is created and on item level we select a batch available on stock with the remaining quantity.
As soon as the sales order is saved on system, the corresponding quantity should be reserved on the selected
batch for this sales order.
In case another customer order is placed and tries to select the same Batch, the order is not confirmed with
this selected batch, due to the fact that the quantity is already allocated the first order with consumes the batch.
In the stock overview (Transaction MMBE) it should somehow be visible that there is a Differentiation between the
"free available" stock and the "reserved" one.
Any tip, trick, Feedback or solution on this subject would be highly welcome.
Thanks in advance, Mila
Hello Mila,
I do not know whether I understood your requirement correctly but for me it seems that you can achieve this when transfer of requirements and atp check is set up for sales documents.
When these are activated then atp check in a new sales order will consider confirmed quantities of already existing sales orders. MMBE is not suitable to check the availability situation. Please use transaction Co09.
