RDP Session for SAP HANA Developer Edition Vs NW AS ABAP & BW on HANA

Hi,

I have created instance of SAP HANA Developer Edition 1.0 SPS 09 using AWS. However I am not able to connect to the environment using RDP.

I then created another instance of SAP Netweaver AS ABAP & BW 7.4 SP8 on HANA 1.0 using AWS. This system provides the functionality to connect using RDP.

Is it possible to connect to Developer Edition using RDP? Just curious why it does not work.

The HANA developer edition at AWS is running on a Linux host and you would normally have to use 'putty' or HANA Studio to access the system.  RDP would be used to access Windows servers.

Thanks Paul for the reply. Will check if AWS offers HANA Developer edition on Windows.
