Error in solution manager upgrade using a generic stack.xml

Hi,

I am upgrading our solution manager from 7.0 to 7.1 SR13. Followed note 1577909 and downloaded the SPS13 media along with upgrade media. When I put the path of egenric xml file it gives below mentioned error. Please suggest.

During shadow import i am getting following in SAPup.ECO. My kernel, tp and R3trans are updated. Can someone suggest what needs to be done here? Upgrade GUI looks like running but logs are not getting updated.

Can someone help? Unable to continue. Tried extracting SAR files manually but that doesnt help. Also, can't fine SAP_MANIFEST.MF file.

I chose add-on to be upgarded in prepare phase but getting following error. I downloaded media from SAPnet for our AIX system with db as oracle. Is it looking for any specific add-on media?

I can only suggest downloading the upgrade media again, and starting over from the beginning, with a new upgrade directory and fresh files.

Suggest you to refer SAP Note  1111316 - Deployment failed because of missing manifest attributes

Hi,

Its the problem with SAR files ... the files which are there in stack.XML file are not present in the directory where you have kept your XML file and SAP files...

check this.. if those are files existing or not.

I have checked and all the files exist in the same directory. It's a generic xml..sp13stack.xml as suggested by SAP in note 1577909. Since our solution manager is on an old version we couldn't generate stack xml from MOPZ.
