Allow Currency conversion option in BW 7.4

Hi all,

I am on a Migration project basically from BW 3.X to BW 7.4.

in one scenario , we transported an already existing 7.x from old to new system. On loading data

from data source to (Purchase order DSO., am getting RSW_CURRENCY_TRANSLATION exception, E_RATE  type c is assigned incorrectly

.

The data loads are going fine in the OLD regional system.

For This we have explored through all the options , but yet to narrow down with any particular solution.

I was wondering if we are missing any small settings in the Transformation.

where I found the "Allow currency conversion " (red icon) is greyed out and couldn't be enabled.

1. Is there a way where I can change/ edit this checkbox option.

2. Will this resolve the Load exception issue related to currency conversion.?

3. Any other resolutions on the load exception?

Hi Vasanth,

Can you please elaborate on your way-of-working re. transporting objects from the old system (release 3.x) to the new system (release 7.4)?

You wrote "in one scenario , we transported an already existing 7.x from old to new system", does that mean that you transport objects from a 3.x system to a 7.4 system?
