Powl Query : Select Option Not Working

HI Expert,

In Confirmation Powl Query, I have changed one of the selection criteria fields from PARAMETER TO SELECT OPTION TYPE.

But still the query returns for only one value even though in the search multiple values are given as input to the changed field LOCATION.

The changed field is still behaving like PARAMETER.

Please provide your suggestion to resolve the issue.

We have ran POWL_D01, POWL_D04 report but still the issue is there.

Based on our further analysis, we have found SAP Note which say Select Options may not work for all the fields. Is it correct for Location too?\

Hi,

Yes, not only 'location', but some other fields which don't have data type as 'table' will not have multi selection functionality.

Goto se11: /SAPSRM/S_SEARCH_FIELDS (Data type)
Here it will list all the search criteria in POWL, and if it has table as data type, it can be used as multi-selection.

This is a limitation.

Please run powl_d01 with the application id and portal user without ticking display indicator.
After this, the changes will take effect.

did you use POWL_D04 report after you changed the POWL type customizing?

If it does not solve your issue, use POWL_D01 report.

Correct KBA is 1814419 - POWL selection options ignored.
