I would like to know more about dummy materials used with rebates. Currently, we are using real materials as a materials of settlement for rebates, but because of big amount of them it is quite a lot of work.
If I understand it well (I am not quite sure), is it possible to create a "dummy" one with general characteristics (e.g. whole material pricing group), that will automatically splits P&L effect of rebates at the real ones, that meet it? Our goal is to have one minimum work with rebate settings but we still need them to reflect P&L in accounting exactly where it should be.
What is necessary to know to be able to set such material, and how exactly the rebate calculation work with such material?
