Security in Web intelligence tool

Hi,

As I am fresh to this topic, Please help me to give security for the user. Here are the requirements:

I am using SAP BO 4.1 version.

I need to connect web intelligence through LDAP server.

I created user and group in LDAP server

LDAP configuration is done using CMC.

Now I need to connect Web intelligence rich client tool using the created user in LDAP.

If I try to connect it is throwing 'User login initialization failure' error.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

are you able to login on the BI Launch Pad through LDAP user?

Have you provided the access on the Web Intelligence application user the CMC->Application?

Hi Amit,

When I trying to connect to BI Launch pad, I am not able to see the LDAP authentication to enter. Only system, Username and password is asking.

Hi,

check the attached link.. see if you have set-up correctly or not.Have to done changes in the BILancuh PAD file under the tomcat.changes the LDAP as default authentication?

Can you see the users set up in the CMC yet?
