Priority of fscm limits

Dear Gurus,

could  someone please enlighten me that, in fscm cr, there are 2 limits; one internal ( company limit) the other one is external  ( example: Hermes Limit) for the customers defined as business partners.

The question: Which one of these limits will come first? in other saying, which will be consumed first and then the system will start counting from the other one?

a BP is assigned a credit limit according to the credit segments they are extended to.

it is not a question of which one is being checked - both will be checked.

The Sales Area of the sales order linked to a Credit Segment will be checked first - and if the main segment is different this will be checked as well.

Having internal and external LIMITS is not a standard process within SAP FSCM Credit Management
