CTP RBA - PDS with object dependency

Hi Experts,

We are having a scenario where we use CTP in conjuction with RBATP. GATP should substitute locations if capacity or material is not found and then should create planned order and provide confirmation to the sales order.

This scenario works perfectly fine for normal material. But when we use it for KMAT having object dependency at BOM level then it failes to create planned order and hence do not provide any confirmation.

Have you came across such scenario. If we do not perform location substitution and just use normal availability check + CTP with object dependency then also it works fine.

This issue is resolved. SAP has limitation in RBA - MTO kind of scenario in which during location substitution characteristics are not passed for production.

We had to customize configuration transfer.

Hi Vaibhav,

You can set the strategy group to 20 for your material in MRP 3 view and then try creating the Production orders, it will work even if you have object dependencies in place.
