We are planning to install/Deploy SAP B1 in our environment and was wondering about single sign on capability.
As per the admin guide,
After binding SAP Business One users to Microsoft Windows domain accounts, the users can log on to SAP
Business One without specifying the user credentials.
Before enabling SSO, ensure that the machine on which you have installed the server tools for SAP
Business One is a member of the same Microsoft Windows domain as the machines on which SAP
Business One clients are installed
I was wondering what happens if the users are across different domains? Would it still work? Do we have any other setup (like kerberos) that would be required to turn on single sign on (apart from instructions in the admin guide).
Thanks..
Krish, Kerberos is part of active directory and has to be configured in order for the single sign on. So as long as all users need to be in active directory.
