Hi Experts ,

we have  used scorecard component  in dashboard to display data

        as

Area         Amount($) Claims
   support400.121
dev500.322
fin340.454

After genrating swf file we got scroll bars .So to remove the scroll bars of scorecard  with out distubing the total dashboard  i just modified the configure column values for three headers(400,165,165)  to (380,175,175).But the decimal values of Amount are not displayed .example it is displaying 400 instead of 400.12.

please help me to come out from this issue.. very urgent ..plzz..

Thanks in advance ...

nikill..

Hello,

You will have to define the setting in scorecard to interpret the value as a number. See below screenshot wherein 'Volume' is the key figure; number format = Numeric

What is the source of your dashboard? Is it a static value or via a Bex query?

There is a workaround - Create a new column and use the formula result = TEXT(<source cell>,"#####.##") to show the values with decimal format. Map this new column in the scorecard layout; should give you the desired result

Hi Shwetha.. ,

we faced this error  wen we   try to run dashboard on client  machine.

Dashboard Error Request processing failed. (xls 000009) failed to connect to the olap source

for this i searched forum topics  one answer found as :synchronizing of clocks Bo server and ABAP server at os level.

so clock synchronization required at os level or BO,BW application level ?

if it os level we need to stop all BW ,BO apps . we need engage the other vendor . it is bit big process.

So anyother solution for the above issue.. help me......

Thanks in advance ..

regards

nikil

Hi Nikhil,

Did you format the excel cells to display numeric data?
