restgui service is not working (bad Request)

Hi Experts,

I am new for the SAP screen personas system and after the Screen personas 2.0 SP3 Add on installation, trying to Test the restgui service from SICF transaction.

After selecting the Test service option from context menu, getting the error in web browser as shown below.

in my login SAP_ALL is given and yet I am getting this error.

please suggest.

Hi Jagesh,

You can test by appending "/newsession" or "/state/text" at the end of restgui in URL.

eg:

http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/sap/restgui/newsession?sap-client=800

Thank you, I tried the same as you mentioned and it is working fine.

just wondering, do I need to maintain the systems setting in SPRO because we have installed the personas 2.0 SP3 on the same system which we want to work, I means main and Target systems are same in my case.

in case if we have to maintain the systems in SPRO then what should we maintain in this case?

and I am also thinking that personas add on installation on each DEV, QAS and PROD systems separately, is it the right option or not?

please suggest.
