Auto Background job TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE

Hi Experts,

I have just noticed that there's a background job running under my user id that i did not schedule.

the background name is  TMS_0000000142TMS_TP_IMPORT and TMS_0000000143TMS_TP_IMPORT with abap program TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE.

1. can you tell me what are those?

2. why does it run automatically?

Hi James

1)that job is responsible to automatically import all change requests in a system based on the related buffer of transports.

2)usually it is set automatic to speed up import of transports for example in a test system or to keep aligned other clients in the same system (let's say you have a golden client and a unit test client, you wish to have to second always aligned from the first one)

Seems you have enabled automatic import of transports in your system.
