Disable/Hide Convert BEx Workbook

Hi All,

I need to disable/Hide the Convert BEx Workbook option in analysis for office .

Could you please suggest the necessary steps to achieve this.

Hi Vignesh,

Which version are you using ?

if you are using 1.x  make below registry setting to False

If you are using 2.x make below setting to false like below

<EnableWorkbookConversion value="False" />

if you are not aware of 2.x settings, check below document

Hi Tammy,

Due to AAO Migration of workbooks ,we no longer use the BEx Workbooks so we want that Convert option to be disabled.

We need a global setting which can be applied in the server setting level to get the option disabled,i think macros we need to do it individually (not sure).

i think we can achieve it in the registry level settings but am not sure the exact solution/step to achieve it.

Hi Vignesh - I'm not aware of a registry setting; what's the harm in leaving the ribbon there?

Could you also specify the version of Analysis Office you are using?
