SAPWEBDISPATCHER GETTING STOP AUTOMATICALLY

Hi Guru,

I am facing an issue with my sap web distpatcher (sapwebdisp.exe). It is getting stop every other day. Webdispatcher version 7.20 & Patch 68. Windows 2008 R2 Server.

Please help me to sort out the issue.

Hi Samrat,

Is this a standalone web dispatcher system ( Installed via SWPM ) or a standalone web dispatcher process you have configured ?

Need to know if any logs are being written for this.

Is there any particular time frame during which it stops. Check the windows error logs as well.

Hello,

The "dev_webdisp" trace would be created in either case (Web Disp. installed with SWPM or manually configured). The only question would be "where?" .

Anyway, your Web Dispatcher is very old...

In addition, the kernel (including Web Disp.) release is not supported anymore.

I would recommend upgrading to the latest patch level of the Web Disp. 742.

It is compatible with any backend release (no need to update/upgrade the backend).
