WD UI Text edit # symbol displayed in Comments

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement to save the comments in Web dynpro ABAP using UI Text Edit. I have used FM SAVE TEXT and READ TEXT to do the same. When saving the text I'm getting # symbol once I save the text in Ui Element.

Kindly support me on this and you suggestions will be rewarded.

#  represents new line.

I do agree that. But how to bring to a new line and make hash disapper.

Hi,

I dont think so you can bring new line and hash disappear.    When you read the text using READ_TEXT the # will be replaced by new line.
