Hi Guru's

Perhaps somebody can help me with below mentioned. We are going to install a XI3.0 system with a de-central adapter engine.

We want to make the XI3.0 system and the de-central adapter engine high availble with Tivoli System Automation....

Have some experienced with TSA and making XI3.0 server with a de-central adpater engine high available....

Further on can we install more then 1 de-central adapter engine for the same XI 3.0 system, and is that usefull ?

cheers

Richard

yes you can - that's the idea

you can install one per one machine to have better performance for example

Yes. You can install any number of decentral adapter engine. Like pointed by Michal one per machine...

But the real point is, if you are having more load in adapter engine then this makes sense. Because, if the adapter process the msg very fast and all your msg reach IE(from 3 different adapter engines) they may consume more time. This does not make much sense.

You can go in for decentral adapter engine if the load on Adapter engine is too high and you have relatively less/no BPM and mapping in IS.. Then this makes more sense.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible

1 decentralized AE can be attached ONLY to a 1 single Integration Server.

But on the same Integration Server, we can always attach more than 1 de centralized adapter engine.

Hi,

you don't install d-engines on XI but on any other machine

then in XI you can select which one you want to use

they can be installed just like any other d-engine
