Work Order - Responsible Cost Center Field

Hi,

I want to find  out if I can make the responsible cost center field for just one  work order type uneditable, why the other work order types' responsible cost center field will be editable.

At the moment all the word order types have the responsible cost centre field to be uneditable.  I however need only one word order type to be editable.

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Mary,

This can be done using configuration transaction OIAN. Look for field "Responsible CCtr" (CAUFVD-KOSTV), double-click it, then click once on "Order Type", click "New values" in the top bar, enter your order type and select the column "Disp".

It seems I addressed wrong Cost center. As Paul mentioned, you need tcode OIAL and setting for field CAUFVD-KOSTV. Rest procedure is same as explained.

Hello Mary

Run spro Tcode OIAZ click on Influencing > D'Click on Order Type > Enter your Order type in Contents field > Hit Enter > Set the Radio Button against field ILOA-KOSTL to Disp.

This makes the Cost Center field in the Location tab uneditable for one Order type (Here it is ZM06) . Hope this is what you are looking for.
