Hi guys!
We need to integrate r/3 with web service on other side. Communication between XI and WS need to be secured. It would be probably the best to use WSSE. Has anyone of you already implemented this kind of scenario? What's your esperience? Does it work? Or are there some problems?
Thanx a lot!
Olian
Hi,
you can encrypt and sign WS in XI in standard
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/56/992d4142badb2be10000000a1550b0/content.htm
the question is also how will you send the data to your XI
(will XI be in DMZ and have only decentralized adapter in outer DMZ?)
so try also considering not only XI - WS flow
but also securing R3 - XI as it will be important in this case
read about network zones:

Hi Olian,
You will have to configure SSL to make a secure webservice call from XI. Please go through the help links to do the same...
Also for this you will have to configure the HTTPS port with the required Key Storage entry..
Please go through these links for the same..
