Data Transfer Node Missing in MDGIMG

Dear all,

We are on MDG7.0,SP2. In the MDGIMG menu we are not able to locate the node for Data Transfer, which is needed to define file sources for data transfer. Given below is the screenshot of MDGIMG, where all other nodes are appearing except for data transfer. Could any one please help if there is any business function which needs to be activated for this specific node or any specific service component?

Please double-check than all MDG_FOUNDATION* (from null to 5) are activated in SFW5

We already have activated all the MDG_FOUNDATION related business functions namely  MDG_FOUNDATION / MDG_FOUNDATION_2/ MDG_FOUNDATION_3/ MDG_FOUNDATION_4/ MDG_FOUNDATION5

What about the t-codes? Do they work:

S_BT6_63000005	Define File Source and Archive Directories for Data Transfer
S_BT6_63000004	Define Object Types for Data Transfer
S_BTD_53000150	Define File Converter Type for Data Import

Hi Alex,

S_BT6_63000005 and 6 are not available in the system.

But in the mean time I was able to maintain the  File source and archive data directories by accessing the table " MDGD_FILEPATH" though SM30.

But We would always prefer to get the related node (Data Transfer) in MDGIMG.

Dear Narendra,

Please try this views via SM34:

VC_MPD_IL_OBJECT - Define Object Types for Data Transfer

VC_MDG_DL_DIR - Data Transfer Directories and Archive Settings

And SM30:

V_MDGD_FILE_CONV - Define File Converter Type for Data Import

if they are no exist, something definately wrong with business functions activation.

Thanks Alex, we are able to access all these via SM30/34.

As I mentioned earlier, I did maintained directories and archive setting through SM30 only for initiating the upload of  FI initial data into MDG-F.

But I thought if Node is not available in IMG path then better to check if we are missing out anything in activation.
