SLG1 monitoring using Techmon

Hi Everyone,

Can we monitor SGL1 application logs using Technical monitoring? I know there is direct option for this in BPMON. But can this be done in techmon as well?

In ABAP template, i could see only system logs,dumps & other messages available. I checked in DB templates also, but no luck.

As these logs are stored in tables, will it be possible to create custom alert/metric and achieve this ?

If any one has already done this , please help.

Can anyone please tell me how to setup alert monitoring for SLG1 tcode error .

I have to get error alert from SLG1 via email.

Hi Kavitha,

It is possible to monitor SLG1 in Techmon with custom MTE classes. However it is a standard feature in Bpmon, know as application log monitoring.
