Batch split indicator not in VL02N

Hello experts,

We have 2 plants. Creating sales order for each plant with subsequent delivery.  Configuration is identical.  One plant will show batch split indicator in delivery (and also allow you to assign batch in sales order) the other plant does not show the batch split indicator and determine the batch automatically. If you manually input it is OK, but there is no check to see if it FIFO.  You also cannot assign the batch at the SO level for this plant because it cannot find it. It will allow you to input it and carry over to the delivery, but we have everything set for auto batch determination FIFO.  This should work the same as the other plant.

Please advise where I need to look.

Check VCH1

check the strategy type, if it is Plant / material combination then assign selection criteria and sort parameter.

Check for your delivery item category whether "CHSP" is assigned to Item Usage in table T184L.  I believe for both plants, it is different and for one plant, it is assigned and not for the other plant.
