SOLMAN_SETUP: Configure Automatic: Stuck on : Generate Business Partner Screen

Hi All,

Been running SOLMAN_SETUP: Currently Stuck on Basic Configuration: Step 5: Generate Business partner Screen overall status 29% completed.

Job is running on SM37 No Errors.

SM50 Shows No errors.

ST22 I get the following error:

Followed SNOTE: 1633725 - SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP4 - basic functions

Implemented Snote: 875986

Any support anyone could provide will be much appreciated.

Hi

Can you try to exectue the function module BUS_SCR_CONTAINER_MAIN in the backend manually, with the value IV_XALL set to true. The following parameters are entered for the current client:

Client: <Client in which the business partner will be created>

Application object: <empty>

Screen: *

Generate: All screens

Delete Subscreen Containers: <empty>

If you recieve any dump then its better to check with your ABAP team.

Hi Rishav,

i went to SE37 and executed Function Module: BUS_SCR_CONTAINER_MAIN.

Set Value : IV_XALL = X

Executed the Function and the following screen returned.

I am still getting short dumps.

What is your SOLMAN SP stack level?

Is it below or equal to SP 8 then perform the below.

Please check if below note helps you.

Hi Rishav,

I have already gone thru Note: 1680556

Current System: Solution Manager 7.1 SP04

1. ST710 is on SAPKITL704 - According to Note: 1483508

2. Loged on as SOLMAN_ADMIN, CLient 001.

3. Did Launch SE38 and execute: CCMSBI_SETUP_E2E.

4. Executed RSORBCT / RSA1

5. Went to BI Content > Object Types > Info Cube > Select Objects > Install

Did this prior to creating this message. Do you perhaps have any other idea what i may do.

Hi Rishav,

ST22 Dump did stop eventually. But my solman_setup is still stuck not sure if i should leave it or if i should kill the Background Job that was executed as part of the Automated Configuration and restart the process again.

Do you perhaps have any suggestions.

Please stop the job, check with ABAP/BW team once about this dump and then start the process again.
