Error--" you should login to Client 001"

i have installed NW2004. it has BW3.5 in it

i have created a client called 100 and done client copy aslo

when i login to client 100 and execute transaction RSA1 it is giving me a message

" you should login to Client 001"

I dont have client called 001 and i have to work in BW only in Clinet 100

Pls let me knwo what i can do in this regard

Hello,

Please check SAP Note 122679 - "You may only work in client xxx."

My guess is that this note is applicable to your situation.

Hi,

First of all, when you are creating a new client it should be done through transaction scc4 in client 100.

Secondly, login to 100 and then do the client copy giving SAP_ALL to it so as to have the exact copy of 000.

Then in that case you won't face any such authorization issue.

Also ume default parameter should be mad to 000.

Hello Balaji,

Please follow these steps :

In Transaction SE16goto Table RSADMINA.Check if there is an entry '001' under the field BWMANDT. In case you find it please delete that table entry completely.

Change the system default client to the correct value .Profile parameter is login/system_client.

Also you may reset the buffer using transaction /$sync though it is not a must.

First delete the entry in the table and reset the profile parameter and then check.

Hi,

Just have a look in SCC4 that logical system is there or not if it is not then you have to assign and adjust the parameter value in default profile login/system_client = 100, via RZ10.
