Cannot use "Post automatically only" GL (Bank Account) in FF_5

Hi all,

I checked "Post automatically only" in GL (It is a bank account). When I run FF_5 to import the bank statement, it display error message GL cannot post manually.

Is FF_5 not counted as "automatic posting"?

And how can I prevent user to post to this GL account other from using FF_5?

Hi Gary,

You can use validation for restrict the GL account from posting other than FF_5. So define validation in GGB0 and assign the same to the co.code in OB28.

Thanks for your suggestion.

But I cannot find any indicator to differentiate FF_5 posting or other postings.

The FF_5 posting also using SA document type.

Could you please provide more details how could it achieve? How to set the pre-requisite to identify user is posting FF_5?

Hi Gary,

You can restrict it by t.code, use the field SYST-TCODE from system fields.
