Enabling SSO for BPC and Local Connections (BW outside CPMB namespace)

EPM 10 on NW

System Info:

SAP BASIS 740 SP5

SAP BW 740 SP5

CPMBPC 801 SP7

HANABPC SP5

As our teams are working on Single Sign On for BPC login via the Portal and the EPM Excel Addin we are trying now to have the same SSO within the local connections as well.

For our BPC SSO which works fine we configured SPNEGO, de-activated most users Productive passwd and configured the SNC setting.

I am trying to do the same with a local BAPI connection.  In a prior engagement we were able to get this to work however we did not configure SPNEGO but utilized the BPC User Options area under Server Configuration.

Is this feasible?  I have to imagine yes however I unable to locate the solution.

May I ask you, SSO (kerberos) is working with EPM Excel Addin?
