OCR-A and OCR-B fonts issue with POST2 device type

Hello,

We are on SAP 4.7 Version BASIS release 620 support pack SAPKB62061.

We are trying to print a text(check digit) on our sapscript invoice form with OCR-A/OCR-B font. The output device is setup with device type POST2.

Issue 1: we don't see check digit text in OCRA /OCRB font at preview level in SAP.

Issue2: we don't see check digit text at 3rd party printer also which is routed from POST2 device type. They say the Postscript does not has the OCRA/OCRB font and asking us to send the text with font.

We have added ZPOST2 copying POST2 , and added SF400 and SF500 Print controls also and still dont see results.

Can any one help or suggest us further.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

To print OCRA/OCRB font by using the device type POST2,you need to firstly upload the true type
font by using the report RSTXPDF2.Then add the true type font into device type ZPOST2.

Pls refer to the KBA 1605966 for more detail information.

Best Regards

We have already added OCRA and OCRB fonts to device type ZPOST2. We also added print controls SF400 and SF500 to the device type but still the postscript file that is generated does not have the ocra and ocrb font information and the print preview does not show the texts in OCRA or OCRB font.

Thanks for your help.
