Project Updation using RBPD analysis

Hello Experts,

There is a project which has been created after RBPD analysis. This project has created before 1 Year and in between logical component has been changed. Now, i have to update same project by running RBPD analysis using new logical component.

When i try to create analysis from analysis project then it shows logical component in which was included before and not the new one. Even logical component selection screen is grayed out and i am not able to change it.

Is my approach correct for updating project. Kindly let me know how can i proceed with this ?

Hi Omkar,

First you need to create a new analysis project taking source as your project because now your source is changed

when rbpd is done you upload content and provide logical comp but here now source is project therefore it will take your new logical comp based upon project

then create a new analysis based upon this analysis project and update the project.

This should resolve the issue.

Hi Prakhar/Rishav,

Analyses project was created based on new logical component, but 'Update' option is greyed out. 'Create' option is clickable.

I am using ID which has SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW

Could you please let me how will i make 'Update' option clickable ?

Hi Ankit

the analysis screenshot shows a name of analysis project as RBPD*

so I assume you are using analysis based based upon rbpd content.

Therefore, request you to please

First create a new Analysis Project with your solman project

Second create a new analysis with this analysis project

Finally in the analysis result you will see the UPDATE option is enabled.

You are following the right approach only, but you should be able to add the logical component, your project will be open and you can able to add with F4 option, Please share your screen details if you are not able to add still.
