SAP HANA SP9 : Input Parameter derived from table option

Dear All,

I have created analytical view on table VBAP. I have also created IP_MATNR as a input parameter from derived table MARA. ( ONLY 10 RECORDS ).

When I execute the SQL . I am getting  all the records from VBAP. Material code ( matnr ) is not getting filtered on the basis of IP_MATNR. ( mara TABLE . Return column MATNR ).

Is it mandatory to do the filter on matnr ( by right clicking  in data foundation ) and assign the filter IP_MATNR ?

I am confused. Please explain.

Thanks.

Regards,

Milind.

Yes, just because you created an input parameter doesn't mean it is assigned or used.

Filter VBAP-MATNR by using the IP you defined.

Hello Justin,

Thanks for your reply. I have filter my VBAP-MATNR by using IP. I got the result for first record my matnr in mara table. View not showing the result for rest of the 9 materials.

I think "DERIVED FROM TABLE  " only works for single value in a table. We cant pass array.

Milind.
