Email is not triggering in the SOST

Dear Experts,

I have the requirement when IDOC fails email need to trigger.

I have developed the business object and from the business object

i am triggering the workflow.

I have traced the my workflow and everything is working fine, but i am not getting the

email in the SOST. Even i am not getting any dump in st22.

I have attached the trace of the workflow. Please let me know whether any problem

or any basis problem.

Hello

Go to transaction SCOT . Outbound Messages->SMTP Nodes-> Click ' Internet' -> Check the address area if the concerned users emails ID is entered. In production environment, this is set to "*" means all email ID's.

Hi

Are you sending using the workflow email step?

What is specified as the recipient - Org Object or email iD? Is it visible in the log?

Please provide a screen shot of the technical WF log ->Select the Email Step-> display the container and see what email address is there.

Hi ,

How you are sending mail ? Using Mail Step or through background job ?

The mail id is maintained in HR Master. Please check using SU01 .

Hello,

Try sending a mail from SBWP to see if this is a Workflow problem or not.

If not, then contact Basis. Is there anything at all in SOST?

Hi Bakker,

In SOST 2 to 3 mails are there sent by other user.

I am not getting error in the trace.

Hello abap,

Try sending a mail from SBWP to see if this is a Workflow problem or not.

Hi Backer,

I tried to send from SBWP, i am able to see in SOST.

But when i triggered from workflow, i am not able to see.

In trace also i am not able to find anything..

Can you please let me know what might problem.

In that case the mail system is okay. As Modak asks, how are you sending the email? Mail step?

Check your SMTP configurations in SCOT tcode.

but nothing is there in the SMTP.
